Design that fits your life
Attainable Luxury without the hefty price tag!
Creating luxurious and comfortable homes that live easily is the mission of RLPinteriors
Kansas City based RLP interiors defines luxury as the freedom to spend time where and how you choose! Owner and Lead designer, Richelle Plett enjoys working with clients to build a livable, highly functioning design plan for your home to work so you don’t have to. A place for everything. Easy living fabrics and surfaces that don’t need a ton of attention.
Whether it takes a few months or several years to implement, she believes in creating environments that endure, using well constructed staple pieces and injecting fun, original art or vintage accessories for personality. Her design philosophy is to “Furnish Forward,” investing in the best quality furnishings not necessarily the most expensive! Influenced early in her design career by the book of the same name, written by famed interior designer Sheila Bridges, Richelle adopts this motto into every project.
Design consultations and project management are available either in-home for local Kansas City area clients or virtually through e-design for everywhere else! Online assistance, full service traditional interior design, or curated design packages make furniture selection and placement, space planning, window treatments, area rugs, and home decor easy, no matter where you are, making luxury attainable.
What can RLP interiors do for you?
With over 20 years in the interior design industry, RLP interiors brings a consistent set of processes to mange your project from concept to completion, where the only drama is in the design. Whether your style is traditional, transitional, modern, eclectic, artsy, boho or vintage purist, following good design rules will ensure your home stays fashionable past a trend’s expiration date.
Her hands on experience in window treatment and upholstery workrooms means she knows fabric and furniture construction and will help you make an informed decision on your investment. Do you need a sofa to last 2 years or 20? Richelle will point out the features that make an heirloom piece versus a short term fix.
