At Fall High Point Market, I’m sure one of the top categories you’ll be checking out is upholstery. But what exactly should you be looking for in a vendor? After the year we’ve had with supply chain issues of foam, fabric, labor shortages, and transportation conundrums, it’s safe to say everyone is searching for an upholstery unicorn.
But how do you ensure that you aren’t sold a bunch of empty promises? That’s the million-dollar question.
Here are a few questions to ask yourself when interviewing new vendors this market. Before you even walk in their door, does the vendor suit you both stylistically and price point? Do the company’s branding and marketing align with your business philosophy? And in my opinion, do you like your rep?
